California Senate Bill 577 requires alternative healthcare practitioners to provide the following information to their clients:

The State of California does not license Reiki Therapists, Sound Healing Therapists, End-of-Life Doulas, or Bach Flower Essence consultants; these modalities are NOT intended to replace traditional Western medical or mental health treatments.

• M. Lori Torok, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Niagara University (1990) and a Master of Arts (MA) degree from the State University of New York at Brockport (1992), where she trained and taught in dance, movement techniques, and somatics. 
• M. Lori Torok is an ordained minister (2011) with Universal Life Church and is credentialed to legally officiate sacred ceremonies, such as weddings, baptisms, memorials/celebrations of life, and any other sacred rites you may need on your life’s journey.
• M. Lori Torok has been in private practice since 2013 and opened Eloia Healing Arts | Temecula Reiki & Sound Therapy in 2014.
• M. Lori Torok has earned the third degree/Reiki Master level under three distinct lineages:
  • Usui Reiki Healing Method, Reiki Master Teacher (2013)
  • Karuna Reiki Master Teacher – William Rand/ICRT (2017)
  • Certified Medical Reiki Master – Raven Keyes/RKMRI (2022)
